"A BIG THANK YOU Dave for the Canvey site and the flood pictures, I did recognise a MRS FREEMANTEL and her children being loaded into a lorry and I can see an old friend, the daughter, Pat Freemantel. She was a quiet gentle girl, we were at school together, then we worked at NEALS book binders together in the 50s. You can just see PAT in the lorry, its over the little boys head, he is in the policeman's arms. The lady is Pats mother Mrs Freemantel ( think thats how its spelt ?) and her family.
