I have very little information about Peter Mason but I'm hoping that the little I have will jog someones memory.

He is likely to be in his early 70's if he is still alive
He worked on the seafront, possibly in the Casino during the summer of 1965
He wasn't a Canvey boy, he came from Leigh on Sea.
His parents may have owned or worked in a fish and chip shop.
At some stage he had a break in her Majesty's bed 'n' breakfast, possibly for theft.

Can anyone provide further information? thanks for reading this far!

The only Peter Mason I can recall from about then was the son of Arthur Mason, the county councillor. AFAIK he and his wife moved to Cornwall in the mid/late 70's to run a hotel
